WARRANTY POLICY

Last updated: 1 September 2026

CARAVONIX is committed to supplying caravan and RV accessories that meet reasonable expectations for quality, performance and durability.

This Warranty Policy applies in addition to any rights and remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.

1. Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing in this Warranty Policy excludes, restricts or modifies your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

2. CARAVONIX Product Warranty

Where a CARAVONIX product is supplied with an additional written warranty, the applicable warranty period and conditions will be stated on the product page, packaging, invoice or other product documentation.

Warranty periods may vary between products.

If no separate commercial warranty period is stated, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law may still apply.

3. What May Be Covered

Subject to the applicable warranty terms, a warranty claim may cover defects arising from:

• Defective materials
• Manufacturing defects
• Product failure during normal and intended use

The appropriate remedy may include repair, replacement or another solution depending on the circumstances and applicable law.

4. What Is Generally Not Covered by an Additional Commercial Warranty

An additional CARAVONIX commercial warranty may not cover problems caused by:

• Incorrect installation
• Installation by an unqualified person where licensed or qualified installation is required
• Misuse, abuse or neglect
• Accidental or impact damage
• Unauthorised modification
• Incorrect voltage, polarity or electrical connection
• Use outside the product’s intended application
• Normal wear and tear
• Failure to follow supplied instructions
• Damage caused by water ingress where the product is not designed for that exposure
• Damage caused by external events or conditions outside the product’s design specification

These exclusions apply to the additional commercial warranty only and do not limit rights that cannot legally be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

5. Electrical, Gas and Plumbing Products

Some caravan and RV products require installation by an appropriately qualified or licensed person.

Where applicable, CARAVONIX may request evidence of correct installation when assessing an additional commercial warranty claim.

Customers should confirm compatibility, specifications and installation requirements before installation.

6. How to Make a Warranty Claim

To make a warranty claim, contact:

Email: info@caravonix.com

Please provide:

• Order number or proof of purchase
• Product name or SKU
• Description of the problem
• Clear photographs
• Video showing the fault where applicable
• Installation details where relevant
• Any other information reasonably required to assess the claim

Do not dispose of the product before the claim has been assessed.

7. Assessment

We may ask for additional information, photographs, testing information or return of the product so that the issue can be properly assessed.

Where inspection is required, we will provide reasonable instructions.

8. Repair, Replacement or Refund

The remedy available will depend on the nature of the problem and your rights under applicable law.

For faults covered by an additional commercial warranty, CARAVONIX may provide repair, replacement or another remedy in accordance with the applicable warranty terms.

Where the Australian Consumer Law provides a different or additional remedy, those statutory rights will apply.

9. Freight and Warranty Claims

Where CARAVONIX is responsible for reasonable return or delivery costs under applicable law, those costs will be handled accordingly.

Customers should contact us before returning any product.

Do not return products without receiving return instructions.

10. Manufacturer Warranties

Some products may also include a warranty provided by the original manufacturer.

Any manufacturer warranty operates in addition to rights available under the Australian Consumer Law.

Where appropriate, CARAVONIX may assist customers with manufacturer warranty claims.

11. Warranty Periods and Consumer Guarantees

The expiry of an additional commercial warranty does not necessarily mean that all consumer rights have ended.

Consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law may continue for a reasonable period depending on the nature, price, quality and expected durability of the product.
